Reposting for the evening oppo crowd.

I finally got the Audi somewhat back on the road, and with snow in the forecast this week, I thought it would be a good time to take it and our '52 Buick Super out for a drive and photo shoot. It was a surprisingly great day for it. Enjoy!

I would totally rock that audi, and go large distances in it.

The buick is a work of art, but not for me.

To each their own, but I think a ride in that Buick would change your mind. It's a totally different kind of driving than you get in modern cars. Personally, I enjoy both the Audi and this, though they're kind of polar opposites for me. The Audi has a high-revving, small displacement 5-cylinder with a 5-speed manual. The Buick has a low-revving straight-eight with a two-speed Dynaflow automatic. In Drive, it never shifts. The other gear is engaged via "Emergency Low."

It might, but i think i'd just try to hoon it at some point, and that would be disgraceful.

It doesn't really do hoon. The automatic absorbs too much. I've only gotten the wheels to spin once on a gravel road. And that straight-eight isn't short on torque! It's just that acceleration isn't really the Buick's thing.
